TWIN CITIES SERVANT EVENT
For the third year in a row, we have taken some our youth to the Twin Cities for a servant event there. This year, we had J 8 youth & 5 adults from our church attend.
Youth had the opportunity to pack food (pictured here after making bag lunches at a homeless shelter), pray for Minneapolis, and serve at Trinity First Lutheran School. a school doing amazing outreach in the heart of Minneapolis.
We also learned about the Bible, how to use it, how we got it, and capped it off with a visit to the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit!  Thanks for all your support so that this group could grow in faith through hands-on experiences! OCE Anne Gonzalez

TAIWAN MISSION TRIP Update
Some have asked what I mean when I say that we are looking for "support" members of the mission team.
There are many things that need to be done for the Taiwan trip: raising funds & prayer support, preparing and sending out communications before, during, and after the trip, hosting teaching events, and more.
Many of these things can be done by people who are not going to go to Taiwan but want to help. They would be considered "support" members of the team.
Don't forget. if you are interested in being a going member of the team, please turn in an application by the first weekend in August. (No money due then.)
