FALL MISSION OFFERING: Among your offering envelopes is a specially-marked one for "Mission Offering". It is dated October 19^th. Because the designated mission needs Voters' approval (and that meeting is after church on October 19^th!), we will collect the Mission offerings the following weekend, October 26th. Any Mission Offering envelopes which are turned in early will go to the mission designated by the Voters on October 19^th.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 19^th, at 11 :30am. Prior to the Voters' meeting, you can take care of your hunger pangs by patronizing the Youth who will be selling coffee & cookies (Coffee Hour) and also sandwiches right after church on Sunday! Thank you, Youth and parents!

Our special ALL SAINTS' DAY SERVICES
will take place the weekend of November 1st and 2nd. Our custom is to read the names of those in our congregation, and those who are loved ones of our members, who have died in the last year (i.e. November 1, 2007 through October 31st, 2008). There is a clipboard in the narthex with a place for you to record the name and date of death of your family member. If you are unable to get to church but have a name for us to remember in this way, please call the church office and we will record it for you.

Need some exercise? The BUDDY WALK takes place

Sat., Oct. 4th-registration is at 10am and the walk begins at 11 am. Come join us for this walk to promote acceptance & inclusion of people with Down Syndrome. Money raised is used to support local education and programs for families. For more information or to donate money, call Kim Fredrick at (608) 857-3637. Come be Matthew's buddy!
