Published - Saturday, July 31, 2010

2010 INTERSTATE FAIR BOOTH SUMMARY
Thanks again for your help with the fair booth. We will pass this information on to Prince of Peace, Shepherd of the Hills, and Faith church offices.

There were 96 people who put their names in for the drawing of the 4 quilts and 1 afghan.
The following were the winners: Heather Hankins of La Crosse won the quilt from Shepherd of the Hills, Tammy Johnson of La Crosse, won the green quilt from St. John Lutheran Church, Loganville; the quilt with lavender colors made by the St. Paul, Hillpoint was won by Krishna Olson of Tomah, WI; the brown quilt made by St. Peters, Reedsburg was won by Pam Herried of Osseo, WI and the orange and yellow afghan also made by a member of St. Peters, Reedsburg was won by Tim Forsythe of Mauston, WI.

The majority of those who registered indicated they were attending a church regularly, however, six of those who registered and were from the La Crosse area indicated they were not attending church regularly or wanted to talk with someone about church. These were given to Faith Lutheran Church. Four of those registered from the West Salem area indicated they were not attending church regularly and one indicated he would be interested in talking with someone about church. These were given to Prince of Peace. One from Holmen indicated that she was not attending regularly and that one was given to Shepherd of the Hills.

Again, thanks to everyone who helped. A special thanks to Lisa Kerr who provided the information regarding the deaf ministry at Shepherd of the Hills. Ideas for next year are always appreciated. (maybe a portable air conditioner?!)
Roger Fisher, LLL Vacationland Zone President
