* Coming this fall. .... a new Pictorial Church directory! All members of Shepherd of the Hills, our deaf affiliate members, and any who are currently "visitors" but intend to join within the next 6 months are eligible to participate. Ellen Gianoli will organize this project within our congregation. Watch for more detail in the September newsletter, but for now please save at least one of the following photography dates on your personal calendar:
 
September 15,17, or 18th; and September 28th• Camera hours will be 2:00-9:20pm on weekdays, and 1 Oa-5:00p on Sat. the 18th. Olan Mills will be our photographer. You will receive a free 8x10" portrait just for being included in our directory, and you will receive a free directory when the project is completed. You will have the opportunity to pay for any additional pictures, sizes, or poses that you choose.

* Calling all women to our first-ever Salad Supper and Extreme Makeover Night! Save the date of August 17th, 6:00pm!! And look for a sign-up sheet. The cost is $5.00 and you may bring female friends and family. Plan on a good meal, fellowship and inspiration.

* Thank you to our many members who volunteer officially or unofficially to help around the church-for everything from yard chores to newsletter assembly, to folding and collating worship materials, to sharpening pencils and refilling pew cards, to filling in at the front desk, to delivering our Food Basket donations to the site, to practicing music and doing special music. We appreciate you and pray that God will bless you as you have been such a blessing to this congregation.
