WHEAT
RIDGE SEALS have again been provided in the church mailboxes for the Christmas season. Wheat Ridge Ministries was established 100 years ago, in 1905, at a time when tuberculosis was sweeping the country. Caring Lutheran extended Christ’s love by founding a hospital and sanatorium in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, for victims of this dread disease. When the threat of tuberculosis faded, Wheat Ridge’s enthusiasm for Christian service was redirected to support new health and wellness ministries throughout the country and around the world, in the name of the healing Christ.
