CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

Please come and bring a friend. This is open to all.
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Jesus Matthew 11:28)
Sometimes it seems that the Yoke we bear in life is  heavy. It is heavy when we try to bear it alone. When the Lord takes our yoke and we take the burden He gives, the load is much lighter. Consider the rest of the words Jesus speaks to you.
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
(Jesus Matthew 11:28-30)
Jesus works through His people to lighten the yoke we bear and to ease the burden we carry. As we meet in the Cancer Support Group, we encourage one another. As we share our experience, we lighten the load we bear. As we listen to others we lighten their load as well.
As the Lord Jesus works through His Word His Spirit, the Comforter, brings us peace and our weary souls find their rest.
